We are heading back to the White Mountains in late October for our FOURTH Adventurous Journey. Everyone is invited to join the Duke of Edinburgh Young Americans' Challenge. It takes six months of hard work from registration to completion, but the program is incredibly rewarding.
To get started you will need to do three things:
- Go back to the beginning of this blog to learn more about the program (and how we plan for each expedition). Still interested?
- Reserve your spot by mailing a $25 check made payable to The Duke of Edinburgh Program (mail to Strafford County Scholarship Program PO Box 2072 Dover NH 03821)
- Rest up. This weekend will be our most rugged yet. Each trip has a different challenge, unique terrain, new team building exercises and this one is going to be tough. We focus on safety at all times, but the experience will test you.
The week before the expedition there will be pre-trip assignments, so watch the blog for instruction.
If you have questions, or need more information, don't hesitate to contact Sarahjayne at 603/303-9768.
